POWER OF ATTORNEY: This is a government website which gives you information about executing a lasting power of attorney.   There may come a time when, because you are incapable of managing your property and financial affairs or personal welfare, you will need someone to do this for you. You can formally appoint a friend, relative or professional to hold a lasting power of attorney that will allow them to act on your behalf.

END OF LIFE: This is the website of DirectGov - a goverment website giving advice and information to members of the public.  On these pages you can find information about wills and probate, money and benefits after a death, what to do after a death, and sorting out property after a death.

LAW SOCIETY: This is the website of the Law Society of England and Wales, which represents solicitors in England and Wales.  This page deals with legal issues facing older people, their relatives, carers and those who advocate on their behalf, and it also has a search facility for you to find a solicitor.  

WILLS: This is a website run by Will Aid - a charity in the UK which assists people with writing wills.  They also have a search facility for you to find a solicitor.

HOW TO MAKE A LIVING WILL: This is  government website which gives you information about making a living will.

INHERITANCE TAX: This is a website run by H.M. Revenue and Customs.  Here you can find out information about Inheritance Tax.
